Braga 2-0 Arsenal : Here we go again !

I think it's time Arsene stopped making 7 changes to teams. Here's why :

(a) It puts a lot of pressure on the first team players that remain. Squillaci looked confused and Fabregas just looked bored. Or lost for people to connect with his passing.

(b) It puts a lot of pressure on the players that come in. Bendtner, Walcott, Rosicky and Wilshere were all having to rediscover each others rhythms, which is usually a difficult process away in portugal.

(c) It clearly sends everyone out with a negative feeling. Surely this must all add up.

Of course Arsene might just not care. Our away record has always been sh*t for games like this.

Nothing really stood out in the game except that Chamakh is the only striker this new formation seems to favour. He won most headers after he came on, but his only option was Vela.

Succesful teams are succesful because they build the largest group of players with maximum fitness. Arsene's strategy builds a great but tired A team and a very out of sync disgruntled B team.

Makes you wonder if we'll have a better shot at the league if there was no champions league around. Oh wait, there's still 10 million pounds to play for..

Villa next. Will not be easy. I would love to see two up front and four in midfield. With every crisis comes a great oppurtunity to do something different. With Fabregas injured, this is our moment. I think its time to ditch the 4-3-3.
